The Banana Lab presents it's second installment of Urban Art Experiments....Custom Skatedeck Show. Artist from across the country and across the globe have been brought together for this exclusive Banana Lab event. The show is set to take place March 31 at CAID (www.thecaid.org), in Detroit MI. Doors are at 7pm....get there early! And for those of you that can't make it all the way to Michigan, the decks that did not sell at the show will be up on the site shortly following the show.

10/22/06 Kid Robot is out of Dunnys...but we're not!
Well, it's official, Kidrobot has sold out of Dunny Series 3 online. Which means they'll become more and more scarce within the next few months. Luckily, The Banana Lab still has a few unopened cases, blind boxes, and a good selection of opened boxes for that one final Dunny to complete your set.
Speaking of Dunny Series 3, The Banana Lab is giving away 1 case of 'em and 1 case of FatCap Series 1, 50 blind boxes in all. Thats the grand prize, and we're still waiting on a couple customs to roll in and get those lined up in the giveaway too. So be sure to sign up on our newsletter to be automatically entered to win. 10/16/06 Oh The Joys of Myspace...and more!
Well we've had a little trouble with Myspace the last few days. Our account was deleted, not by us, and supposedly not by Myspace. Supposedly we got some sort of virus on our account. I guess you get what you pay for huh? Oh well, needless to say we've got a new account up and running and we're trying to get back up to speed. So if you're a fellow myspacer head on over and friend us here or you can click the banner on the left anytime while you're browsing the store.
In other news, The Banana Lab is having its first giveaway!!. So we're ready to roll. Well, we're still waiting on some stock and working out a few glitches here and there, but we've decided to open the doors. Worldwide. 24/7. And though we're worldwide, we're really focusing our efforts on the Detroit market, as it is so untouched in the urban vinyl toy world. So Detroit...welcome to the wonderful world of urban art, vinyl toys and all other forms of urban experiments. To everyone else, welcome to your new home for all your urban art needs. While we're still getting our inventory up to speed, we'd love your suggestions and comments. Let us know if you're looking for something specific, let us know about a new product you'd like to see us selling, or just let us know what a great job we're doing.
